Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located near Parnell village and a short drive to Mt Eden, with beautiful roses across the road and a nice bay just a 5-minute walk away. The rooms are clean and come with the expected facilities, although my King Superior was a bit dark and at the end of a smelly corridor. The service, while friendly and helpful, had minor charges for breakfast. The dining experience was good but could use more variety. Currently, there is some work being carried out, causing some noise during the night.
I found the hotel to be in a great location with easy access to the city and the concert venue. The room I stayed in was comfortable, but the noise from the street was quite bothersome. The hotel's proximity to various attractions was a plus, although the small and uncomfortable toilets were a downside.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were dark, packed with vibrance, but the toilets were ridiculously small and uncomfortable. Security was a concern as the door could be opened from outside. On the bright side, the hotel had a cat around to brighten the stay.
The hotel is in a central location with lovely views over rose gardens, near everything and easily accessible from the motorway. Great for events at the Spark Arena. The room was somewhat noisy with guests coming and going, and the bathroom felt dated. There was a distinct smell, possibly due to the age of the building.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was great and convenient for getting around, but the room was not ideal for my disabled mother, despite being clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but there were some service delays due to reduced staff numbers. The dining experience was mixed, with some good aspects but room for improvement in breakfast options.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were lovely and clean, but there was a constant sound of running water throughout the night. The service was a bit cold overall, but there were friendly staff members. The location was great for quick access to both the hospital and downtown. The dining experience varied, with some finding it not worth it while others praised the good selection. Overall, it offers a convenient stay with a few drawbacks.
The hotel is in a great location, clean and spacious rooms, but could use some renovation. The service was friendly and accommodating, with a few hiccups. The dining was good with a variety of options, and the facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel suited the four of us perfectly, offering clean and comfortable rooms, a lovely pool, free on-site parking, and great staff. However, our room wasn't ready until late afternoon despite the initial promise of early readiness.
The hotel has rooms that are larger than standard, quiet, away from the noisy road, but has no elevator access, which can be challenging with luggage. The service team rectified our arrival day issue, had friendly staff, but cleaning details could be improved with findings of marks and hairs in the bedroom. The location is very good for events at the stadium, close to everything, with free parking, and fairly close to Spark Arena. The dining experience had plenty of choices but ran out of tomatoes and hash browns. Overall, a comfortable stay with some minor inconveniences.
The hotel is located in a pleasant area close to Parnell and Newmarket, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The rooms were a bit tired and noisy in the morning, but the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The dining experience had its highlights with a lovely restaurant atmosphere, even though there were some cleanliness issues. Overall, a reasonably priced hotel with friendly service and a good location.
The hotel is conveniently located, although next to the road, but overall a decent choice. The service was pleasant, but staff seemed reluctant to address disturbances. The location is very handy for exploring the city while being close to various amenities. The dining was worth it, with a lovely view over gardens. Overall, a satisfactory stay with decent value for money.
The hotel's location was superb, next to the Gardens and within easy walking distance to various attractions. The rooms, although well ventilated and comfortable, lacked some modern amenities. The service was polite and friendly, offering a range of convenient options for guests. The dining experience, with its lovely view over the rose gardens, was enjoyable but had some limitations. The facilities were adequate but not exceptional.
The hotel has a stunning rose garden view but lacks in-room soundproofing and bathroom maintenance. The service is top-notch but the internet connection can be unreliable. Dining options are delicious with a lovely ambiance. The location offers a peaceful getaway with central convenience.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, very central to the city and close to major attractions, especially perfect for events at Spark Arena. However, the room, although a King Superior, was disappointing with no air conditioning, just a noisy ceiling fan, and lacked kitchen facilities. The tired and worn-out room at the end of a smelly corridor made my stay less than ideal.
The hotel is clean and as advertised, with a beautiful view from the balcony. However, the lack of AC made the room warm, and noise from the busy street was disruptive early in the morning.
